PCGen, the worlds most flexible d20 character generation and maintenance software, announces the release and immediate availability of PCGen v5.15.14 (Beta)! Download your free copy from PCGen's download page.
PCGen's fifth beta release of the current development cycle brings lots of Pathfinder goodness as the PCGen team continues to track down and fix bugs in the Pathfinder RPG Beta data set. The latest additions are full support for monks, character traits and barbarian rage enhancements. To see the full list of improvements check out the Release Notes.
Once again the PCGen team asks the PCGen user community to continue exercising the latest beta to help identify and report bugs in the Pathfinder RPG (Beta Playtest Edition) data set, as well as any bugs in the program itself. Reports on the Pathfinder RPG set would be best directed to PCGen_Exp@Yahoo!, with a prefix of [PFRPG] in the subject line, while bugs for pcgen itself can be posted to PCGen@Yahoo!.
PCGen is an RPG character generator and maintenance program (d20 systems). All datafiles are ASCII text files so they can be modified by users for their own campaigns. For more information about PCGen, join us at PCGen@Yahoo! or visit our website and wiki.

With the second beta release of the current development cycle, the PCGen team has already squashed some significant bugs! Most significantly, an issue with running the new data converter on Mac and Linux machines has been fixed and good progress has been made towards filling in the gaps in the recently added Pathfinder RPG data set. PCGen, the worlds most flexible d20 character generation software, adds another alpha release to its development cycle with the release, and immediate availability for download, of PCGen v5.15.9 (Alpha)!

The PCGen team has added an extra alpha release to our development cycle to allow our code and data teams to tackle the last few features needed for full support of Paizo's Pathfinder RPG Beta, so with PCGen v5.15.9, we are one step closer to a final production release in late January. Of special note in this release is the conversion of the last of PCGen's LST Tags in preparation for a move to a new internal architecture, a move slated for the next development cycle. This new data set is compatible with PCGen v5.14.1 and is available, along with the complete Rise of the Runelords and Curse of the Crimson Throne Adventure Paths, for immediate download from PCGen's download page.

PCGen v5.15.7 is our last alpha release for the current development cycle, and we are on track towards the final production release. The majority of tokens have been converted over to the new CDOM parsing structure and code support for Pathfinder and 4e is progressing well.
