Wanna Earn Money For Being A Rules Lawyer?
Posted by: Anonymous on Sunday, February 28, 2010 - 12:33 AM EST
Community News
Savage Mojo is looking for a pair of people who have an eye for game balance and a passion for the best rules. If that’s you, we want your help in developing the rules for a new series of roleplay supplements. Get your name in print, and earn some cash along the way.

“We’re looking to expand our Suzerain game line, and to make that happen we need the biggest rules lawyers ever.” explained Martin Klimes, Publisher at Savage Mojo. “This is freelance work that someone could do in the evenings and at weekends, open to any gamer who’s ever created a homebrew rule or tweaked a setting.”

Apart from having a keen eye for game balance, successful applicants will be reliable and easy to get along with. Don’t bother applying if you’re a prima donna who won’t work with the team. Don’t bother applying if you’ll flake on your projects. But if you can hit a deadline and play nicely with others... this is a great opportunity.

Initial interest should be sent by email to the Suzerain Lead Developer, Miles M Kantir:

Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you think you’d be good at the work!

[LPJ Design] Fallen of Obsidian Twilight: Asi Magnor (PRPG) released
Posted by: Anonymous on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 - 05:16 AM EST
All Topics
Louis Porter Jr. Design, has released its first product for the upcoming post apocalyptic survival horror fantasy setting, Obsidian Twilight for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Here is information on the Fallen of Obsidian Twilight: Asi Magnor (PRPG):

Sheathed in fragrant wrappings and armored by magic and sheer age, the undead emperor Asi Magnor conquered the world before, and after, his death. He radiates power and malevolence, the desire to rule and the power to clutch the world in his claw-like hands or crush it beneath his sandaled feet. Asi Magnor was born into a long and unbroken line of kings in the desert Kingdom of Shaan. The Shaan were known, before the cataclysm, as a peaceful and cosmopolitan people with ornate and elaborate death rituals, but in the time of Asi Magnor, some three thousand years before the cataclysm, they were a war-like people with advanced cities, agriculture and great command of magic.

Savage Mojo and Smiteworks announce partnership
Posted by: Anonymous on Saturday, February 20, 2010 - 03:33 PM EST
Community News
We’re delighted to announce that Savage Mojo has made an agreement with SmiteWorks USA to deliver the Suzerain roleplaying experience to your virtual gaming table. SmiteWorks will develop a series of rules and campaign-based products for the Fantasy Grounds II virtual tabletop, starting with a free version of the Savage Suzerain Player’s Guide for the Savage Worlds rules system.

The CEO of SmiteWorks, Doug Davison said, “Suzerain will allow GMs and players to experience a unique roleplay experience that spans time periods and creates its own genre. Who wouldn't want to direct their players as they ascend to Demigod status? This conversion will put everything right at your fingertips and we are happy to work with Savage Mojo to see this brought to the Fantasy Grounds community.”

“We’re over the moon about this opportunity.” added Martin Klimes, Publisher at Savage Mojo. “Fantasy Grounds is the best virtual tabletop out there, and it’s great to think that soon players from all round the world will be able to get together thanks to the talent and diligence of Doug’s team. Heck, I plan to use it to run a couple of campaigns for other members of the Savage Mojo family, so if you want to do some online roleplay with us, just let me know!”

Development work for the new range of products will begin shortly, and a further announcement will be made as the first ruleset comes out of testing.
